YOU COULD STILL BE WHAT YOU WANT TO |
It was time.
Holy poop. It was time. It was TIME. IT WAS TIME! Clio thrummed her fingers impatiently on her desk as she moved her cursor to the weird-looking Sburb client icon and clicked it. The screen went dark for a minute before a green... thingie popped up and began spinning. Underneath was a loading bar, and underneath the bar was interesting-looking text. The 18-year old squinted and peered closer, but the text kept flashing by before she could read even one word. Whatever. She stared at the green thingie again, which looked like a ton of circles overlapping another ton of circles or something. What was it called again? She had no idea. But who cares? She was finally playing the game!
Clio had heard so much and yet so little about this game. Somewhat curious about this 'game of the year' when it hit the shelves, she surfed the web for an official website, trailer, or walkthrough. Strangely enough, she found none. Intrigued and encouraged by her eleven computer pals, she went ahead and ordered a copy. Truthfully, she didn't like most video games. But this one was just so exciting! The mysterious lack of anything related to this game only served to spur her on further, determined to figure out the whole point of this game.
Thirty percent. Who was her server again? That's right, Aleks! Awesome awesome Aleks. Her fingers shaking with anticipation, she logged onto Pesterchum and glanced at the computer screen. Fifty percent. Oh, Aleks was online! Grinning, she ran her hands through her thick, wavy hair and began typing a message.

CC: are you ready to rumble?!?! =DDDClio was oblivious to the fact that a strange meteorite recently crashed down somewhere on the other side of the country and that it was all over the news, since she didn't have a TV in her room. Seventy-five percent. Eighty. Ninety. Ninety-five... a hundred. A giant list of numbers popped up in front of her and her lime green eyes widened. Wow. A lot of people really were playing this game! Sitting back tensely, she popped over to Pesterchum again and tapped out a message after glancing at the screen to read her IP address. Damn, video games are confusing.
