Being fluent in quite a few languages, the ten year old acts much, much older than her age. At times, she will reference another language or type in it completely. A few 'cute' quirks she has, however, is making up words. She loves making up words whenever she gets the chance! She'll often choose one of her words and end with it in her posts. Rather than a period, Kimiko likes to put ~'s to symbolize how cute and childlike she is. [attr="class","kangaroo"]HISTORY [attr="class","kangaroos2"]Kimiko has always had the good life. Born to a rich, prestigious family, Kimiko has always been treated like a princess. In a way, she was one, though. Her family were the religious leaders of their village, and were extremely renown. Kimiko was given the best education possible from the earliest age possible. She was given the best opportunities possible, she was given whatever she wanted when she wanted it, and was spoiled rotten. The only thing that tamed Kimiko's possible splurge of utter spoiled-princess power was the dreams she'd be plagued with every night. They were so real that, at times, Kimiko couldn't tell when she was sleeping or not. This developed insomnia that appeared on and off, and not once did Kimi not take the dreams to heart. Her parents gave her the best counseling they could, but no amount of therapy calmed the fear that embedded within her. Vivid dreams of everything she loved dying matured Kimiko far more than her body could keep up with. At the age of nine, one of her nightmares came true. Both her mother and father were killed. | [attr="class","kangaroo"]HOME [attr="class","kangaroos2"]Kimiko's guardian since the death of her parents has been Kimiko's pet dog. As silly as it is, Kimiko doesn't exactly need an adult to protect her, and she lives quite contently with her beloved dog (whom she has lovingly dubbed Clementine). The Mikami house is not unlike a castle. Well, it's more of a mansion-like shrine, but castle works perfectly for a little princess. Being quite large, many of the rooms have been long vacant since the murder of her mother and father. Village elders and other such officials often hold meetings in Kimiko's home, at the very least to check up on her while doing village work. Kimiko doesn't mind. She enjoys the company, and adores the amount of respect the elders hold for her. The now unused bedroom mommy and daddy Mikami held is filled with flowers, all placed by Kimiko. She had accepted their death when the dream kept reoccurring, but would still always miss them. [attr="class","kangaroo"]SIDE QUEST [attr="class","kangaroos2"]Kimiko's quest is honestly quite easy and simple. Or, so you'd think. If Kimiko chooses to complete the quest, then her denizen, Cerynitis, requires to be captured. Plain and simple as that, yes? There is always a catch. Cerynitis is one sneaky little deer, one that far surpasses human speed while running. The flight of Cerynitis begins instantly, at high speeds, to cause discomfort to her planet. Wherever Cerynitis goes, the planet begins to swell in glistening light. This light harmed the inhabitants within it, as night is their eternal playtime. Once completing in the capture of Cerynitis, Kimi has two options. Kill it or or return it to his home. Choosing option one proves to be an easy task, as once captured, Cerynitis refuses to move or struggle. However, if option two is chosen, then Kimi will require something far better than the endless supply of grist. |
