[attr="class","kangaroo"]SIDE QUEST [attr="class","kangaroos2"]a lush, vivid planet inhabited by snakes, lodah is dotted with meadows and fields. a thick haze covers the planet, obscuring the rays of the sun; while it is not harmful to the consorts, it is toxic to the denizen, cetus, who lurks under the surface of the many lakes and streams. always hungry, her kills in the past have been few and far between, as exposure to the haze is toxic to her. lately she has become more active in her feasting, however, posing an increasingly great threat to the poor snakes. while this heavy fog that obscures the land is not immediately lethal to humans, the disorientation, feelings of peace, and inclination to sleep are more than enough to lead anyone astray from their journey. rory's quest is to restore clarity and light to the planet, to clear the haze so he may successfully find the denizen. from there, he may either attempt to kill or bargain with cetus. |
