[attr="class","kangaroo"]TYPING STYLES [attr="class","kangaroos2"]CC: you type in the pastel magenta color #f49ac2, 'cuz it's the color of your hair. and no, it's not 'pink'! you never use color names like 'red' or 'blue' by themselves. they're too boring and general! instead, you name specific shades like sedona if you're describing the color of something and color that word with its color. CC: generally you have a really upbeat and cheerful attitude, which shows even when you type! you love using simple emotes and hearts and these ~ symbols, whatever they're called anyways. you never ever ever use capital letters, but instead for emphasis you streeeetch words and use lotsa exclamation points!!! =D CC: you're typing tends to have typos in spelling and grammar. that's okay though, 'cuz it's still readable~<3 CC: and you curse oooonly on very very special circumstances, when your really really mad! but you're hardly ever mad, so it's a pretty rare sight =3 CC: as the cherry on the cake you finish up pesterlog convos with something cute, like 'xoxo' or 'cheerio' or just a plain heart! <3 <3 <3 wow do you love hearts! CC: hugs and kisses!~ [attr="class","kangaroo"]HISTORY [attr="class","kangaroos2"]Clio has a mom and dad - of course she does! Everyone does. It's just that she's never met them before. Probably because they're both dead. Eight months after she was born, both died in a freak car accident. Veering out of the way of a truck barreling towards them, they drove straight into yet another truck. Obviously it didn't end well, and all of the sudden Clio was an orphan. So who took care of the baby? Her older sister did, twenty at the time. She wasn't actually biologically related to her baby sister, as she was adopted into the family, which explained the huge age difference between her and her sister. OS (as Clio came to call her, short for 'older sister') managed to land a sinecure to keep the two of them going - what kind of job she got, Clio has no idea. As she grew, she discovered that the two of them didn't really get along. OS was grumpy, moody, and all-around pessimistic, as well as secluded. Clio was the complete opposite. Any interactions between the two of them dwindled to a point as if they were complete strangers forced to be roommates. Clio continued to try to warm things up between them, but even she knew deep inside that it was all in vain. Otherwise, she lived a normal life - she went to school, made friends, yada yada yada. Her only off and unusual attribute was her obsession with color, especially compatible color palettes. She loved to paint and was good at it. She designed and redesigned the house almost monthly. She created clothes with her Wardrobifier v2.0 (functions as a normal Wardrobifier, but through complex screening processes clothes can actually be designed and created) in almost all of her free time. The only exercise she got was gymnastics classes, which she didn't hate but didn't love either. They're pretty much the reason why she's not fat. Then news about Sburb, game of the year, came out. Normally she wouldn't play video games, but intrigued by how her friends talked about it, she ordered a copy for herself. Which wasn't a good idea at all. | [attr="class","kangaroo"]HOME [attr="class","kangaroos2"]Clio's relationship with her older sister (OS) is cold and distant, as if they were strangers sharing a house. Despite her many attempts to warm things up between them, even Clio knows, deep in her heart, that it'll probably last forever unless some special event brings them together. Their house is in the suburbs (Sburb, suburbs. Get it? No? Okay) and it's rather... lavish. Clio had spent hours trying to decide what color palette to use and finally went with shades of orchid, with the exterior of the house colored with lavender and flowing curtains of light orchid color. Inside there are more shades of pink, violet, and indigo, with a lot of the furniture these colors as well or close to it. In fact, the only room left alone in this color theme is OS's, which Clio would never even think of looking inside. Personal privacy, ya know? Clio's own room follows a palette that matches her hair and eyes (pastel magenta and lime green). Pillows, blankets, stuffed animals galore! And clothes. There are clothes everywhere, hanging from the ceiling or folded neatly on her desk. There are paints and canvases scattered here and there, and tucked to the corner of her room is her most prized (and expensive) possession - the Wardrobifier 2.0. It functions as a normal Wardrobifier AND, after complex screenings not for the faint-hearted of fashion designers, can create clothes. So. Cool. [attr="class","kangaroo"]SIDE QUEST [attr="class","kangaroos2"]LOPAC is a rather boring place. It used to be full of dynamic events and animation, as well as parties. The consorts would gather every day in little groups for parties, whether they be masquerade, holiday, or even disco. And the color! Everything was vibrant. Everything was fun. Until one day, Laelaps sucked all of the joy in the land to keep for herself and went into hiding. As a result, LOPAC became a greyscale world, and consorts lost their interest in parties. After all, what is fun when everywhere you go, you see only shades of gray and black and white? Sure, there was a party every once in a while, but it was more of a loose gathering of moping beings than an actual party. It's Clio's job to bring joy back to the land by one of the three options: killing laelaps, striking a bargain, or singlehandedly bringing back joy (and thus, color), which is possible but probably the hardest of the three choices. |
